LinePrompter is a teleprompter and self-tape app for actors, developed by WittyApps. Your scripts and recordings stay on your device.
**What stays on your device (never collected):**
- Scripts, slate info, and recorded self-tape videos are stored only in the app's local storage and are never uploaded.
- We do not collect names, contacts, or any personally identifying information. There are no accounts.
**Anonymous analytics we collect:**
- **Product analytics (Amplitude):** anonymous usage events (app open, script saved, recording started, paywall shown, purchase completed) with basic device/app info (device model, OS version, app version, an auto-generated anonymous install identifier). No personal content is included and it is never used to identify you. Data may be processed on Amplitude's servers (US). See [Amplitude Privacy Policy](<https://amplitude.com/privacy>).
- Nothing is used for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking, and data is never sold.
**Permissions:**
- **Camera & Microphone** — used only to record your self-tape on your device; recordings are saved locally.
- Tapping "Share" hands your video to the system share sheet, to the app you choose (Photos, Mail, etc.). Their policies apply from there.
**Other third-party services:**
- The **AI reader voice** uses your device's built-in text-to-speech. Script text is processed on-device by the OS voice engine and is never sent to us.
- **Purchases** are processed entirely by Apple App Store / Google Play; we never see your payment information.
**Children:** the app is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.
**Changes:** if this policy changes, this page will be updated with a new date.

## Data Retention
Your data in the app (entries, calculations, and settings) is stored solely on your device. It is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. This data is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app, at which point it is permanently and irreversibly removed. We keep no backups of your personal data on any server.
The anonymous usage analytics and crash reports described above are retained by our service providers (Amplitude) in accordance with their data-retention policies and contain no personal identifiers we could use to identify you.
Advertising-related data processed by Google AdMob is retained in accordance with Google's privacy policy; we do not receive or store it ourselves.

**사용 권한:**
- **카메라·마이크** — 기기에서 셀프테이프를 녹화하는 용도로만 사용하며, 녹화물은 로컬에 저장됩니다.
- "공유"를 누르면 시스템 공유 시트로 영상이 전달되어 사용자가 선택한 앱으로 보낼 수 있습니다. 이후 처리는 해당 앱의 정책을 따릅니다.
**기타 제3자 서비스:**
- **AI 리더 음성**은 기기 내장 TTS를 사용하며, 대본 텍스트는 온디바이스로 처리되고 당사로 전송되지 않습니다.
- **결제**는 Apple App Store / Google Play에서 처리되며, 결제 정보는 당사에 전달되지 않습니다.
**아동:** 본 앱은 4+ 등급이며 누구에게서도 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.
