Overview

PDF Translator ("the App") is a document translation app operated by WittyApps. We designed the App around a simple principle: your documents are yours. We do not keep them, we do not read them beyond what is required to translate them, and we never sell them. This policy explains what limited data we handle and how.

Information We Collect

• Documents you upload: PDF files you choose to translate, and the translated results. These are processed solely to provide the translation you requested.
• Anonymous account identifier: The App signs you in anonymously. We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number. No registration is required.
• Purchase records: When you buy translation credits through the App Store or Google Play, we keep a record of the transaction (product, store transaction ID, credits granted) to manage your credit balance and handle refund disputes. Payment details (card numbers, etc.) are handled entirely by Apple or Google and never reach us.
• Anonymous usage statistics: Aggregated, non-identifying metrics such as translation language pairs, document page-count ranges, and feature usage. These statistics never include document contents, file names, or anything that identifies you.

How We Use Your Information

• To translate the documents you submit and deliver the results back to you.
• To manage your credit balance and process purchases.
• To improve the App using anonymous, aggregated statistics.

We do not use your documents to train AI models, and we do not sell or share your documents, file names, or personal data with third parties for marketing or data-brokering purposes.

Data Storage and Deletion

• Automatic deletion within 48 hours: Uploaded documents and translated results are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within 48 hours, along with the associated translation record.
• Instant deletion: You can delete any translation and its files immediately at any time from within the App. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
• We recommend saving your translated results to your device; after deletion we cannot recover them.
• Purchase records are retained as required for accounting and dispute resolution.
