Overview

PDF Translator ("the App") is a document translation app operated by WittyApps. Your documents are yours: we do not keep them, we do not read them beyond what is required to translate them, and we never sell them. This policy explains what limited data we handle, who processes it and how long it is kept.

Information We Collect

• Documents you upload: PDF files you choose to translate, and the translated results. These are processed only to provide the translation you requested.
• Anonymous account identifier: the App signs you in anonymously with Firebase Authentication. We do not collect your name, email address or phone number. No registration is required.
• Purchase records: when you buy translation credits through the App Store or Google Play, we keep a record of the transaction (product, store transaction ID, credits granted) to manage your credit balance and handle refund disputes. Payment details are handled by Apple or Google and never reach us.
• Usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase): events such as translation language pairs, document page-count ranges and feature usage, with an app-instance identifier, device and operating-system information, app version, language and approximate location derived by Google from your IP address. These events never include document contents or file names.
• Crash and error reports (Sentry): error messages, stack traces, device model, operating-system and app version, and the IP address of the connection. Document contents and file names are not included.
• Push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging): the App stores a push token with your anonymous account so we can tell you when a translation is ready. On Android the token is created even if you have not turned notifications on; on iOS it is created after you allow notifications.

How We Use Your Information

• To translate the documents you submit and deliver the results back to you.
• To manage your credit balance and process purchases.
• To notify you when a translation is ready.
• To improve the App and fix errors using usage statistics and crash reports.

We do not use your documents to train AI models, and we do not sell or share your documents, file names or personal data with third parties for marketing or data-brokering purposes.

Third-Party Services

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Analytics, Cloud Messaging): stores your anonymous account, translation jobs and documents during processing, usage statistics and push tokens. Privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
• Google Gemini API (translation processing): page content is sent to Google's Gemini API to perform the translation.
