Privacy Policy — Dive Log

Dive Log ("the app", "we") is a personal scuba diving logbook. This policy explains what data the app handles.

Your dive data stays on your device

All of your dive logs — depths, times, sites, gas mixes, buddies, notes, ratings, and any photos you attach — are stored locally on your device. We do not have a server, we do not require an account, and we never upload, sell, or share your dive records.

You can export your entire logbook to CSV at any time and take it with you.

Photos

If you attach a photo to a dive, the app accesses your photo library only to let you pick that image. Selected photos are stored with the dive on your device. Photos are not transmitted to us.

Analytics and diagnostics

To understand how the app is used and to fix crashes, we use:

• Google Firebase Analytics — anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (for example: which features are opened, app version, device type, general country/region). We log only categorical values. We do not send your dive records, photos, site names, notes, or any personally identifying content.
• Sentry — crash and error diagnostics, so we can fix bugs. This may include device model, OS version, and a technical stack trace of the error.

What we do NOT do

• No account, no login.
• No advertising or ad tracking.
• No selling or sharing of personal data.
• No transmission of your dive logbook off your device.
