Overview

Work Diary Checker: AU Trucks ("the App") is a planning aid for heavy vehicle drivers, published by WittyApps. This policy explains what information the App handles, what stays on your device, and what is shared with third parties. The App requires no account and no sign-in.

The App is a planning aid only. It is not an Electronic Work Diary (EWD). Your written work diary remains the legal record of your work and rest hours.

Information We Collect

Stored only on your device (never uploaded):

• Your work and rest entries — everything you mark on the diary sheet or record with the Work/Rest buttons, including corrections.
• Your settings (such as your base time zone) and Pro purchase state.

Collected automatically (sent to service providers):

• Crash and error reports (via Sentry): technical information such as device model, operating system version and the state of the App when an error occurred.
• Anonymous usage analytics (via Amplitude): which features are used (for example, opening the fortnight view or exporting a PDF). These events are not linked to your identity and contain no diary contents.
• Advertising data (via Google AdMob, free version only): device advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA where permitted), IP address, coarse location derived from IP, and ad interaction data. See "Advertising" below.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or the contents of your work diary.

Advertising

The free version of the App shows banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process device identifiers and related data to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses advertising data.

• Consent (EEA and UK): Where required, the App shows a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) before any advertising data is processed. You may decline; you will then see non-personalised ads or, where applicable, no personalised processing takes place. You can change your choice at any time from the App's settings.
• iOS App Tracking Transparency: On iOS, the App requests tracking permission through Apple's ATT framework. If you decline, your device's advertising identifier is not used for tracking.
• Removing ads: A one-off Pro purchase permanently removes all advertising from the App. After the purchase, the AdMob SDK does not serve ads.
