Overview

Add & Check Todo is a local-first task app provided by Witty Apps ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what information Add & Check Todo handles, what remains only on your device, and what limited diagnostic information is processed by third-party services.

Add & Check Todo does not require an account and does not provide cloud synchronization. Your task text is never sent to us, Firebase Analytics, or Firebase Crashlytics.

Information Stored Locally

Add & Check Todo stores the following information on your device so the app can work:

• Task text, Today or Later placement, order, completion state, and timestamps.
• Completed-task history and locally calculated statistics.
• App settings, including language, appearance, widget privacy, and optional Android ongoing-card preferences.
• A locally cached Pro entitlement state after the device's app store reports a valid purchase.

On Android, the app, widget, Quick Settings tile, and optional ongoing card use app-local storage. Widget task text is hidden by default and is shared with the widget only after you explicitly enable it.

If you export a backup, Add & Check Todo creates a plain-text JSON backup file at a location or through a sharing destination you choose. That file is outside Add & Check Todo's control after export. Importing a backup occurs only when you select a file and confirm replacement of local data.

Add & Check Todo's app-controlled task store is excluded from operating-system cloud backup and device transfer where the platform provides that control. An exported backup file may still be copied, synchronized, or backed up by the destination you choose, such as a cloud-drive folder or sharing app. That destination is outside Add & Check Todo's control and is not Add & Check Todo cloud synchronization.

Information We Collect

When release analytics are configured, Add & Check Todo uses Firebase Analytics to process limited app-usage information, including:

• App version context, platform, language, build channel, and whether Pro is active.
• Fixed interaction events such as creating or completing a task, moving a task between Today and Later, using undo, opening widget setup, and changing the optional ongoing card.
• Fixed dimensions such as action source, destination, status, or enabled/disabled mode.
• Subscription funnel information such as selected product identifier, localized price and currency, product-load status, purchase status, and restore status.
