Overview

Calm Tents and Calm Cryptogram ("the Apps") are puzzle games developed by WittyApps. This policy explains what information the Apps handle, which service providers receive it, how long it is kept and how you can control it.

Information We Collect

The Apps do not require an account. Your puzzle progress and settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to us. The Apps send the following limited data to service providers:

• Google Analytics for Firebase (usage analytics). Purpose: to understand how the Apps are used. Data: app usage events (for example screen views, tutorial and puzzle progress, opening the Remove Ads screen and purchase results), an app-instance identifier, app version, device and operating-system information, language, approximate location derived by Google from your IP address and, on Android, the device advertising ID if it is available and not restricted. • Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting). Purpose: to find and fix crashes. Data: crash and error details (stack trace), device model, operating-system and app version, and a Crashlytics installation identifier.
• Google AdMob (advertising). Purpose: to show and measure ads in the free version. Where required by law (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), the Apps ask for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before ads are requested. Data collected by Google: advertising identifier (Android advertising ID; on iOS, the advertising identifier only if you allow tracking in the iOS system prompt), device information, IP address and approximate location derived from it, and ad interactions.
• Apple App Store / Google Play (payments). Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We do not receive your payment details.
• Update check. When you tap the update check in Settings, the Apps look up their own store listing on the App Store or Google Play to tell you when a newer version is available. This request contains the App's identifier and your country, not personal data.

We do not collect your name, email address, contacts or precise (GPS) location.

How We Use Information

Analytics show us which features are used; crash reports show us when something breaks; advertising data is used by Google to serve and measure ads. We do not sell your data.

Data Retention and Deletion

• Puzzle progress and settings: kept on your device until you delete the App or clear its data.
• Google Analytics for Firebase: event and user-level data is kept for up to 14 months and then deleted automatically.
• Firebase Crashlytics: crash reports and their identifiers are kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically.
• Google AdMob: retained and deleted by Google as described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/retention. We do not receive or store it.
• Purchase records: kept by Apple or Google under their own policies.
